Henshin tries to be a complete import/export system and has
many components. The roadmap presented here will show you the features
planned which will affect the components of version 5 of the system.
We have divided Henshin V in four modules:
- Core .- Includes aiDOM (object model/xml), Henshin Tools, web services and generator.
- Autocad Palette .- Henshin palette for Autocad and related
- Opensim extensions
- Other extensions .- Extension for using Henshin with another CAD/3D programs

Core
- Specify textures/light/physics by primitive type.
- Automatically detect primitive type defined with Autocad Palette in dwg (in study)
- Get parameters from building in Second Life and reimport into Henshin xml
- Allow prim_base with “user” scripts (i.e. for creating scripted objects)
Palette
- Increase the number of shapes
- Basic shape modifiers (taper, cut, etc.)
- Texture/color management
- Export Henshin xml without using Henshin Tools.
Opensim extensions
- Add light and physics while building.
- Add reposition command
- Export from Opensim to Henshin xml.
Version 5.2
Core
- Improve Henshin Tools interface (add specific controls indicating colors, rotations...)
- Object links management
Palette
- Add building helpers (fill with primitives, extrusion detection, etc.).
- Build dwg from Henshin xml.
Version 5.3
Reserved for functions suggested by Henshin users.
