Ecological House

This design was submitted for an architecture competition in SL ( http://aire-europe.org/).

The main aim of this open plan house is protecting itself from outside using a green DOUBLE CURTAIN WALL, whereby two glazed walls are constructed with 3 meters of space between them.

In these green space,  we can fit systems to encourage the use of fresh air and natural day-lighting, while at the same time improving user comfort, reducing energy consumption, and promoting a sustainable solution for the building.

Between the exterior and interior façade we are creating a MICROCLIMATE, isolated from exterior, that allows this glass home to preserve its inner temperature.

To that end, the following means have been established:

PLANTS: They make a living and changing elevation for the house.

WATER:
Coming from the exterior pool, flowing through the channel inside the
two façades and sliding into the little interior pond, the water and
its vision make us feel more comfortable.

Fully furnished EKOROJI house, can be seen in world at http://slurl.com/secondlife/Quest%20I/67/81/29 and we are selling an unfurnished version in our main studio at Quest II.
